CLASS NEWS

Week of September 23rd- September 30th 

• MIPI Results:  Grade 5 students received their Math Assessments results last Monday. Booklets need to be signed and returned. 

• Home Reading Program:  We started a new reading program, with monthly prizes and a monthly draw for free Laser Quest passes. Please support your child by initializing her/his home reading sheet and helping track reading.

• Mathletics: We have access to a very valuable resource, at school as well as at home.Your child's log in information is on the second page of the agenda. Please read this letter to familiarize yourself with Mathletics and see how you can support your child using this learning tool.

• Immunization Letter (Grade 5 only):  Your child received an Alberta Health letter this Thursday. Please complete and return this envelope to school BEFORE Thursday, Sept.29th. 

• #endpoverty project: This week we will be developing recipes using the produce of our garden. If you have your own garden produce you'd like to donate for our cooking workshops, please let me know. Thank you!
